Memorial Day 2026

Keeping it short this week. With the banks closed on federal holidays, a lot of retailers are pushing Memorial Day deals and discounts to try to get into your wallet. Some of these are real discounts, but others are just trying to get you to spend in your off time with misleading sale stickers. Either way, it’s important to be aware of your budget.

There’s also military-focused promotions for veterans as well as price drops for the general public. Not every deal is worth it, or may have eligibility requirements.

I use two tools for checking price histories on Amazon.com, specifically Keepa and CamelCamelCamel. They both have the same general features, but work a little differently depending on how you use them. I prefer the Camelizer browser extension on my desktop, and the Keepa mobile app where I can check product pages from the Amazon Shopping app with the share button. You can see what products are actually discounted, versus products that show a “limited time deal” but had the same price for the past year.

There are other price-tracking tools out there including some newer AI‑powered ones, but I haven’t used them enough to vouch for just yet.
